Here is a profile picture of our girl. As you can see she obviously takes after her mother in the lip category.



At this point our little lady is breech. She still has plenty of time to turn, but we have to also accept that she might not. Statistics say 80% of babies are head down by 32 weeks. If she doesn't, we will try an external version. This is when the doctor manually turns her to the head down position by guiding her around the uterus. There is a 40-70% success rate. If that does not work we will have to schedule a c-section. Not my favorite idea to say the least. So, at this point all we can do is wait and hope she flips on her own!

30 weeks

Baby Shower

On September 25, 2010 baby was showered! Grandma Dawn, Aunt Christi, and "Auntie Alyssa" hosted. It was really great. Baby got all kinds of goodies. She is a very lucky baby to have so many people that care about her already.

3rd Trimester!

We have finally made it to the last trimester. Little Adelaide could be here in any time after November 27 according to my pregnancy books when she will be considered full term!

I can tell that she is growing a lot. I am very hungry every two hours or so, but don't feel like I have all that much more space for food and her. She likes to move around after I eat and in the middle of the night when I am trying to sleep. She will be "showered" this weekend. I cannot wait to see the little things she will get. I have grown more attached to my belly as it gets bigger and I feel her move more.

Only 99 days remain!!! (26 weeks)

We have made it to double digits. Baby Addie is only 99 days away from her due date, although I hope she comes early. This is the final week of our second trimester. I have been taking prenatal yoga once a week, and really enjoy being in the same room as a bunch of other pregnant women. Baby does not like some of the poses that we get into and gets kicking to let me know. With everyday that passes it becomes harder and harder to wait!

24 Weeks

For our three year anniversary Mike and I drove to Vancouver, BC and explored. Because I cannot enjoy a nice wine, I instead ate my way through Canada. Baby Addie has not let up on the sweet tooth she has created in me. We enjoyed ice cream, pastries, cupcakes and pie. Here is a photo from our last day and 24 weeks along. I cannot believe that how close we are to her being here. Time has really flown by. Lets hope it continues too!
