Potty time

We are wearing undies and rocking the world of potty training. Thank you stickers and M&Ms for getting this girl out of diapers (sunny weather and being able to be outside also helps the process)!

 

Hope Everyone had a lovely Easter! We enjoyed a nice family weekend, a little too much food, and lots of yummy treats. So thankful Spring is here and we can finally spend time outdoors. Winter with little ones is a lot different than it used to be.

Horrible blogger

I am terrible at keeping up with this since my tiny man has arrived, but man life is busy. I am only working Mondays and Fridays now, so the middle of the week is packed with hours and hours of kid time. I am tired. Addie is on at all hours of the day. She wants to play, read, eat, dance, and talk talk talk. When they are both in bed at night I think I finally take a much needed breath. She is the most social little lady I know. She wants to be friends with everyone, and her vocabulary is amazing. I love talking to her and listening to her play make believe with her toys. Clutch is by far the best baby I have ever encountered, and I am so lucky that he is mine. He nurses like a champ, takes a bottle no problem, and has been sleeping through the night. The past three nights he has done 12 hours strait! He is always happy and rarely cries. I want to freeze him right where he is. I hate that he is getting so big and wish I could have him as a baby forever, but am also so excited to see him and Addie play together. She acknowledges him more lately and it makes my heart hurt. Yesterday they were laying in our bed under the covers next to each other, and I got a glimpse of how great our future is going to be with these two. I am one lucky mama.

It's pretty awesome

2 weeks old

Clutch is now 2 weeks old and 8lb 12oz. He gained a pound in the last week because all he does is eat eat eat!! Addie is doing a good job adjusting, but has her moments for sure. I am so thankful for everyone that has been willing to help out and take her off our hands. We had our first day at the house yesterday with just me and the kids. It went much better than I expected. Luckily I'll get a couple days a week to catch up on rest as the grandmas still plan on taking her for me. Now we just need to make it through the holidays!
