Baby-free weekend went well. I got to spend much needed quality time with my best friend, and managed to avoid tears thanks to the Internet and being able to FaceTime multiple times a day. Adelaide was great according to both sets of grandparents. I'm so glad we finally crossed this bridge and it went smoothly.

Getting out and about

In the last couple weeks, we have been to two open gyms and the Children's Museum. I love watching Adelaide interact with other little kids. She takes everything in, and is very inquisitive about people and how things work. My baby is totally gone. I officially have a toddler. I'm having a hard time accepting this, but every now and then I get a little snuggle time to remind me of the past.
