Easter weekend

We started our weekend off with a visit to the Oregon Zoo of the annual Rabbit Romp egg hunt. Addie had no clue what to do so I had to help her grab a few goodies and move on. Sunday morning Addie woke to an Easter basket with some new books, a couple puzzles, and a few other goodies to add to her playroom. That night the family came over for Easter dinner. Addie had so much fun she had a hard time going to sleep. I had to go back in her room two times, when I never even have to go in there once. It was actually the sweetest thing that's happened in a while. I forgot how great it is when she sleeps on you and you can hear her little snores right in your ear. I really cannot image loving anything more. I feel like the luckiest mommy in the world that she is mine.

Independence

Life has gotten harder since Adelaide has decided she wants be the only one feeding her. Food gets everywhere, there are random baths, and multiple outfits are worn daily. This drives me insane. Why can't I just feed you the yogurt?!? Why must you insist on holding the squeeze pack, and thus squeeze too early and get it EVERYWHERE!! My dog is getting fat and my use of antibacterial wipes has doubled. I have to remind myself this too shall pass.

Adelaide loves her new corner of our house and so do I. Not having toys in the living room is amazing. Myron is pretty fond of it as well. Thank you to Michael for stepping it up and making this happen in two days. We love you!

Playroom

We converted our "junk" room into a playroom over the last two days. Addie will get to see it for the first time tomorrow evening. I cannot wait!

15 months

Spring has sprung
