CALIFORNIA

My trip was awesome. It was great to get away and enjoy time with my friends, see my brother, and give Mike and Adelaide a bonding weekend without me. I have never been more excited about coming home, and was so happy I booked an early flight that allowed me the afternoon with my little.

Fathers Day

Yesterday was low key. In the morning we walked around downtown while the Gay Pride festival was happening, this was by chance and provided lots of good people watching. In the afternoon Mike watched lots of golf and went to the driving range. Addie was put down for the night at 5:15pm because her nap got messed up and she was acting like a crazy person. I enjoyed an evening in my bed relaxing and reading. Another successful weekend down. I'm heading to California next week and leaving my birds in the nest. I cannot wait.

My BIG girl

Adelaide talks a lot. She says more words than I can even count and is constantly trying to say new ones. I invested in a pack of Pull-ups, with the hope that we can get her excited about potty training, and she immediately started calling them her undies. Life is a lot easier now that we have communication on our side. By the time #2 arrives I cannot even imagine what she will be like. Everyday is something new, and I'm trying to enjoy the time we have as much as possible. It's crazy to know the days of just the two of us are numbered, but I can't wait to see her as big sister. She is going to be a fabulous one!
